Katie Price's son Junior says he 'doesn't want to die' amid Covid symptoms

Peter Andre and Katie Price’s son Junior has shared new details about his coronavirus symptoms, and has said he “doesn’t want to die” but says his symptoms aren’t severe.

The teen, 15, took to Instagram Live to update fans, and explained how his symptoms have been changing.

He revealed that he is currently suffering from a sore throat, but initially had a bad headache and aching body.

He told Instagram: “The first few days, my head was the worst. My head was banging so much. I don’t know how I got symptoms, because I’m a child, I’m 15. But my head was banging, my body was aching, my throat was fine.

“And then all of a sudden my body’s sort of stopped aching… my head still bangs but not as much… but my throat is so sore. It’s killing me.

“It’s not part of the symptoms I don’t think, but maybe I’ve got something else with Covid. Yeah, I have Covid.”

However, Junior reassured his followers that that although he isn’t feeling 100 per cent, that it’s “not severe, just annoying”.

Junior filmed the Instagram Live video chat after followers asked him if he was worried, as he isolates with family at dad Peter Andre’s house.

Junior is keeping positive, saying: “Don’t manifest it. Listen, if it happens it happens. But I know God wants me to live my life to the finish, so I’m not gonna die from Covid and if I do, I do. I don’t wanna die.”

Junior also mentioned that he’s slightly confused as to why he’s been suffering symptoms as a young person.

He explained that he’s had some trouble staying occupied in isolation, as having aches and a bad back-ache has meant he’s been unable to play Playstation 5.

He then added that watching TV or looking at his phone while playing games can make his “head hurt” leaving him unsure of how to spend his time.

Junior previously announced to fans that he had tested positive for Covid-19 last Thursday (29 April) on Instagram, in a post with a black background reading: “I have tested positive for COVID”.

Junior divides his time between living with his mum and dad, as does his sister Princess Andre, 13, who Peter also shares with Katie.

Peter and Katie split back in 2009 after four years of marriage, after striking up a romance on series 3 of ITV’s I’m a Celebrity in 2004.
