Khloe Kardashian slammed for sexy snaps days after Travis Scott Astroworld tragedy

Khloe Kardashian is facing backlash for posting a series of sultry pictures to her social media account just three days after the Astroworld tragedy, which claimed the lives of eight and injured many more.

Khloe, who is the older half-sister of Travis Scott’s girlfriend Kylie Jenner, posted three glamorous pictures on Instagram on Monday wearing a figure hugging sexy outfit with see-through mesh detail.

The 37-year-old can be seen combing her fingers through her long blonde hair and striking sexy poses in front of a white wall.

Fans immediately accused the star of being “tone deaf” in the comments section, which was flooded with comments and critique over the timing of the post.

“Tone deaf. Shame on you [for real],” one person commented

Another wrote: “People are watching you guys. I think we can pause this for a week or so after people died at TS concert just a thought.”

“People died but okay, seems it’s no problem in the world of Instagram,” another person added.

The pictures come as more heartbreaking details about the Astroworld victims are continuing to emerge.

The chaos at the Houston festival unfolded shortly after 9pm local time when the massive crowd “began to compress toward the front of the stage”, officials have said.

The police are conducting a criminal investigation into what happened with the assistance of the homicide and narcotics divisions

“I’m honestly just devastated. I could never imagine anything like this just happening,” Scott, 30, said in an Instagram story post on Saturday.

Scott and organisers are facing a slew of lawsuits since the incident, noting Scott’s history of encouraging fans to rush the stage and ignore security guards.

Kardashian’s sister Kylie Jenner, who is pregnant with her second child with Scott, has said in a statement that she and Scott were unaware of what was happening in the crowd until after the show.

She said: “I want to make it clear we weren’t aware of any fatalities until the news came out after the show and in no world would have continued filming or performing.

“Travis and I are broken and devastated. My thoughts and prayers are with all who lost their lives, were injured or affected in any way by yesterday’s events.”

The Good American founder has not released a statement of her own following the tragedy. However, she did repost her sister Kim Kardashian’s statement on her Instagram Story, which reads:

“Absolutely heartbroken for the lives who were lost and anyone who was hurt at Astroworld. Just like all of you, our family is in shock by the tragedy.

“We are keeping all of the victims, families, and loved ones impacted in our prayers for healing – as well as Travis who we know cares so much about his fans and is truly devastated.”
