Lady Gaga's dogwalker says he's homeless as he asks for £29,000 for trauma retreat

Dog walker Ryan Fischer was recently shot while walking the Lady Gaga’s beloved French Bulldogs through the streets of LA in a vicious dognapping incident back in February.

And now, he has launched a GoFundMe page to cover the costs of his solitary road trip to help recover from the terrifying incident and heal his “emotional and mental health.”

After travelling for two months, the 30-year-old has taken the plunge to ask for financial support to help cover the costs for a new van, travel expenses and various healing trauma retreats across the country.

He clarified: “For me, this includes retreat centres, trauma programs, queer healers, creatives and spiritual leaders.”

With a goal of $40,000, Fischer has been overwhelmed by the generosity of the public as he currently stands at $19,222 less than a week after he created the page.

The traveller shared an emotional video alongside a lengthy post which explained how he has been recovering from the horrific incident which nearly killed him.

He penned: “With no vehicle, apartment, and having run out of savings and surviving on donations from generous loved ones, I am humbly asking for your help.

“This is not an easy thing to ask, but I have started to realize sharing your vulnerability with other is exactly when radical change begins to occur for everyone involved.”

Fischer went on to admit he is two months in to a six-month road trip which allowed him to make it from LA to New York and back using his savings, but now needs the extra funds to complete his “sabbatical.”

Speaking of the terrifying event just three months ago, he recalled how the incident continues to impact his everyday life as his body recovers from the injuries.

He shared: “At times I was scared, I was lonely. I felt abandoned and unsupported. I had long bouts of depression and doubt and self-pity.”

In February, Fischer was walking the Poker Face singer’s three dogs named Koji, Gustav and Miss Asia when he was attacked in the street and shot four times.

During the incident two of her dogs, Koji and Gustav, were taken by the assailants while Miss Asia managed to escape their grasp before she laid by Ryan’s side as he bled out on the streets.

One month later, five suspects were charged for the dognapping incident including the woman who returned the pooches after the hitmaker announced a $500,000 reward for the safe return of her furry friends.
