Loose Women's Christine Lampard gives birth to baby boy with husband Frank

Loose Women host Christine Lampard has given birth to a baby boy.

The 42-year-old presenter and her husband Frank Lampard have chosen to name their little bundle of joy Frederick George Lampard, after Christine’s father.

Frank and Christine welcomed the tot last week and are now back home in a “bubble of absolute joy” with the rest of their family.

The proud parents confirmed the exciting news on Instagram on Monday.

Christine can be seen proudly holding her son in her arms in the beautiful photo that was taken at the hospital.

Christine posted: “Let us introduce you to our newest addition…Frederick (Freddie) George Lampard! We are completely in love.”

Unsurprisingly, the telly star’s sweet social media post was inundated with messages from her famous pals and fans.

Little Freddie is a welcome sibling for their daughter Patricia, two, and Frank’s daughter’s Luna, 15, and Isla, 13.

Christine and Frank welcomed Patricia into the world in 2018.

Her name is a tribute to Frank’s late mother, who passed away in 2008.

Christine confirmed she was pregnant with her second child on her Instagram by posting a picture of herself cradling her bump and wrote: “A new year and a new baby on the way for the Lampards!

“Sending all my love to everyone going through pregnancy during this crazy time.”

Following the birth, a close friend of the couple told The Sun: “Christine and Frank are over the moon after the birth of their little boy.

Christine said on Loose Women she had found her second pregnancy in lockdown “isolating” compared to first time around as her family could not spend more time with her.

She said: “I have got two very excited parents back in Northern Ireland who cannot wait. It’s been very weird if I am being honest, as we’re very close.

“Christmas was meant to be that tiny bit of light at the end of the year and sadly it didn’t happen, so mum and dad haven’t touched the bump, and haven’t seen it in the flesh. Thank goodness for Skype.”
