Love Island's Hugo and Amy furiously clash as she brands him 'fake and terrible with women'

Love Island’s Amy Day ‘savagely’ clashed with Hugo Hammond on ITV’s Aftersun – where she said he was “awful with women”.

Earlier today, the Islanders returned back to the UK separately after Hugo brutally called his time in the villa with Amy “tragic”.

However, the former loved-up couple was re-united virtually to chat with ITV2 host Laura Whitmore.

She quizzed whether there was room for friendship between the pair after the show.

Producers aired previously unseen clips of 25-year-old Amy and Hugo meeting for a drink following their shock villa axing during the week.

The pair sat opposite each other as she explained she felt blindsided and their fling had been ‘fake’.

Hugo insisted he told Amy how he felt

Amy didn’t hold back after Hugo snapped he felt they agreed to just be “friends” after the show.

She told cameras she felt ‘friend-zoned out of the blue’ as Hugo “flipped on her” after leaving the Love Island villa.

The PE teacher said the relationship wasn’t for him when back in the UK even though he thought there was a spark at the start.

He insisted he told Amy during a “chat on the day beds” that their relationship would go “one way or the other” when the show ended.

Amy says she completely regrets pairing up with Hugo

But Amy hit back saying she clearly wasn’t “part of that conversation” and slammed him for treating the show as a “lads holiday” and “patronising” her.

The pair were unable to agree and viewers saw Hugo get up and walk away from the table, with Laura revealing they haven’t seen each other since.

But – they were brought side-by-side on Aftersun, where Amy let out everything she had on her mind.

The pair were unable to agree and remain friendly after the Love Island villa

Amy said: “I think Hugo is just awful with women… to sum it up, Hugo says that he wants to stay true to himself, can you not be true to everyone else at the same time?

She added she “one hundred and ten per cent” regretted putting all her bets on Hugo and called herself an “idiot” for doing so.

Hugo slammed Amy in a bitter response claiming she was with him to get herself a “green card into the villa”.

Fans were shocked watching the dramatic scenes unfold and called the feud “savage”.

“That Hugo and Amy interview was so savage,” one viewer wrote, as another added: “Amy is being so savage on aftersun it’s hilarious.”

A third said: “Amy is a savage and I can’t even deal with how she is disassembling this man like he’s an IKEA wardrobe she’s about to dash out.”
