Love Island's Millie and Liam Hideaway date edited as clip 'too explicit for TV'

Millie Court and Liam Reardon enjoyed a night alone in the Love Island villa’s hideaway – but the date was reportedly too ‘explicit’ to be aired in its entirety.

The pair were chosen by their fellow islanders to spend quality time together in the luxury private suite.

Liam, 21, and Millie, 24, didn’t waste time exploring the hidden drawers underneath the bed – and found adult costumes, handcuffs, blindfolds, and feather boas.

Essex administrator Millie changed into a nurse’s outfit and fishnet tights to rub oil on the Welsh bricklayer’s back.

But as the Love Island couple began enjoying their time together, the show cut to the window and fans could hear the couple giggling as Milly declared: “You’re naughty, you are.”

ITV producers were reportedly frustrated they were forced to cut out much of the action as it became too x-rated to broadcast, writes The Sun.

A source claimed: “The footage was quite explicit and producers were miffed because they couldn’t air any of it.

“It meant that the footage had to be cut cleverly for broadcast and video editors had to get creative.

“At least they are genuinely attracted to each other.”

One former contestant also claims that producers want to avoid Ofcom complaints so they’re careful about what they air.

The Love Islander, who didn’t want to be named, told the paper: “Loads of couples have sex on the show now. They all talk about it when they come out of the villa afterwards.

“They are aware that so many youngsters watch so producers have to be really careful about what they show or they are inundated with Ofcom complaints.

“Most do it under the duvet but some will just go for it in full view — it’s a no-go as far as broadcast is concerned, so why not?”

The broadcaster is also keeping in mind their pledge of a duty of care to contestants, added the insider.

But a spokesperson for ITV debunked the claims and said: “This is completely untrue” when asked if the pair had sex.
