Love Island’s Molly-Mae Hague has been named the new Creative Director of Pretty Little Thing after years of working with the fashion brand.
The 22-year-old shared the news on her Instagram this morning as she told her 5.9million followers about her new collaboration with Pretty Little Thing, though this time it’s not just a collection she’s bringing out.
The influencer will also become the Creative Director of PLT for UK and Europe in what she’s called the “biggest deal of her life”.
In a statement released on Instagram, she said that she’s “beyond ecstatic” to make the announcement, which she has been teasing for weeks.
She said: “This is the biggest move in my career so far and I can’t explain my gratitude to my favourite brand in the world for trusting me with this role.
“PLT have had faith in me from the very start and to now be a Director within the business feels like a complete dream come true.”
Molly-Mae teased that she has some great visions for the brand, before adding that she will also be releasing another collection with them imminently.
She said: “To celebrate this huge news I’m bringing you without a doubt my best collection to date. I’ve worked on this collection now so for long and I’m beyond proud of it.”
Molly-Mae had been teasing the deal on Instagram and eagle eyed fans knew something big was coming after PLT deleted their Instagram account in a shocking move yesterday.
PLT are clearly overjoyed with the news, as Molly-Mae shared the snap and hit over 200,000 likes in less than 30 minutes, they praised her in the comments.
The brand wrote: “Our new creative director though!”
Meanwhile her pals flooded her with messages of congratulations, with Love Island bestie Maura Higgins writing: “Boss! So proud of you angel, you deserve all the success in the world.”
After Molly-Mae’s success on Love Island she became the most followed islander with a whopping 5.9million Instagram followers.
