Melanie Sykes admits her Italian toyboy lover “has her heart” after the loved-up couple reunite after months of being apart.
The TV star, 51, met Venice gondolier Riccardo Simionato, 23, last year while on holiday.
The presenter was “too happy to car” after being snapped kissing in the street.
The holiday romance, which lasted five days, proved to have lasted throughout lockdown despite the couple being 960 miles apart.
Sharing an idyllic photo of herself on a boat, Melanie confessed she’s fallen head over heels for her toyboy partner.
She penned on social media: “Ciao for now beautiful Venice, you & your people have my heart @ricky_simionato amore.”
Riccardo replied on the post, saying: “Thank you very much for the good times spent together.”
Melanie then sent 14 smiley face with heart emojis back to her boyfriend, meant to represent “warm and fuzzy” feelings in tech lingo.
The pair’s unlikely romance was first revealed after Melanie met Riccardo on holiday.
When it was made public, he refused to spill any details.
He was asked about the 27-year age gap but said: “Beauty is relative. Maybe what in your eyes is beautiful, isn’t to me.
“Every person is different, nationality doesn’t matter. True, no?”
Melanie was previously wed to actor Daniel Caltagirone between 2001 to 2009 before they divorced.
They share two children, Roman, 18, and Valentino, 16.
She also married Jack Cockings in 2013 but the couple split after less than a year of tieing the knot.
It comes after the star claims she “broke down in tears all night” after presenter Keith Lemon ‘abused her for hours’.
She alleged she endured verbal abuse whilst filming for ITV’s Through The Keyhole.
Mel said she went to the sow’s producers to report the behaviour of Leigh Rancis, 48, who plays the comedy character Keith Lemon.
The mum-of-two claims she cried all night after being hit with comments whilst on the panel of the show in 2018.
She added she was reportedly told she was the first person to complain about him, with her replying ‘she didn’t care’.
