Michelle Keegan fumes as husband Mark Wright fails to buy her an Easter egg

Michelle Keegan was not a happy bunny on Easter Sunday as husband Mark Wright failed to buy her a chocolate egg.

The former Coronation Street actress logged into her Twitter account to share her disappointment with her 3.4 million followers.

She penned: “Not 1 Easter egg… fuming!”.

Michelle, 33, was inundated with messages from fans offering to share their own sweet treats with the brunette beauty.

One fan penned: “Plenty here Michelle got Aero, Smarties, Rolo, you name it I’ve got.”

Another joked: “No easter egg!! You need to be having a word with Mark, I’m sure thats grounds for divorce” alongside a winking face emoji.

A third person posted: “I’ve got a spare if you want one.”

While a fourth follower said: “Mark needs to up his game.”

Mark’s mum Carol replied to daughter-in-law Michelle message: “I have Easter eggs for you all x.”

It wasn’t all bad news though as Mark spent his weekend cooking up a storm for him and his wife.

He shared a snap of a giant platter of seafood on his Instagram as he enjoyed the first bank holiday of the year.

Former TOWIE star Mark, 34, and Michelle have been married since 2015.

The pair recently gave fans a first look at the design plans for their new home in Essex as work gets underway on the stunning £1.3million property.

They took to the couple’s joint Instagram home page last week to share a CGI image of the home they’re planning to build revealing its bright white exterior and huge windows.

The “dream home” also features two smaller sections on the side, lots of green space and a silver feature in the centre of the driveway.

Showing how much progress they’ve made, they shared a snap of their home taken back in 2019 when they decided to go ahead with the transformation.

It has been reported that Mark and Michelle have sold their old home, which they bought in 2013.

The property was on the market for £1.78million in October last year.

Michelle and Mark purchased their new home the same month and it was announced it January that they would demolish the four bedroom farmhouse and transform it into a lavish new mansion with a “classic design”.

The luxury new home is set to feature a huge swimming pool, bar and make-up room, floor plans have revealed.

Plans posted on Epping Council website show the couple’s incredible vision, which also features a playroom for any future children.
