ITV’s hit dating show Love Island has become one of the broadcaster’s most profitable money churners, with advertisers fighting for a spot to be seen in the show’s advertising schedule and brands working tirelessly to get their products on the programme.
And according to recent reports, ITV managed to accumulate £12m in revenues even before the first episode aired on TV.
But as well as making a huge profit for the television network, Love Island has produced previous contestants that have done very well financially too.
Some of Love Island’s past candidates have gone on to successfully accumulate eye-watering amounts of cash once their season finalise, with the likes of Molly-Mae Hague, Dani Dyer and Megan Barton-Hanson becoming millionaires since their series ended in their own right.

Although she was a runner up in the 2019 series of the dating show, Molly-Mae Hague has become one of Love Island’s biggest success stories.

2018’s winner Dani Dyer impressed the nation with her loveable nature and her larger than life characteristics, but when the show finished the actor’s daughter managed to make some serious bank.
On Instagram, it is believed the star can charge £8,044 per a sponsored post.
Thanks to major brand deals and clothing line, the star reportedly made £16,000 more than her father Danny Dyer last year.
And according Pilot Fish Media, Dani has a net worth of £2.9million.
Olivia and Alex Bowen
Married couple Olivia and Alex Bowen have collectively made some serious cash since the second series of 2016’s Love Island came to an end.
Although they didn’t win, the stars have continued to remain in the public eye and according to reports they managed to rack up a massive £4.4 million collectively since leaving the villa.
The pair have now been crowned as the highest earners of Love Island since the series began.
Essex babe Olivia, who came runner up on her series alongside Alex, is thought to be able to charge a £6,082 per Instagram post.
Maura Higgins
Brunette beauty Maura Higgins has made a killing since leaving the villa in 2019.
