Molly-Mae Hague has said she feels “guilty” about the robbery on the home she shares with Tommy Fury.
The Love Island couple were victims of a terrifying burglary last month, where a gang managed to steal £800k worth of belongings from their Manchester flat.
The pair had been partying in London during the burglary, as their flat became “ransacked” and “emptied”.
Molly spoke out about the incident in her latest YouTube video, and admitted it’s the “worst thing that’s ever happened” to them.
She said: “It was without a doubt the worst thing that’s ever happened to me, to us, I’d probably say.
“It was just awful, horrendous, terrible. So we have been dealing with a lot.
“Our apartment was robbed, ransacked, emptied. You name it.”
The influencer went on to reveal that her and Tommy were left with “not a lot of stuff at all” after the shock robbery.
She explained that reading things on social media has caused her to feel like the burglary was her fault.
She continued: “I never thought if I was to be robbed, that I would feel guilty for being robbed,’ she continued.
“But I think seeing a lot of things on social media and seeing a lot of people’s opinions about why we were robbed, I started to feel like, God was this my fault?
“Do I share too much? Did I do the wrong thing?”
Molly confessed that she finds it hard to know how much of her life she should share with the public on social media.
She added: “It’s really, really hard to find that balance between sharing so that you guys want to keep up with my life and see what I’m doing, but also keeping my life private so that I stay safe and I think I potentially maybe lost that balance.
“It’s nobody’s fault, it’s just a truly, truly awful thing to have happened.”
Molly and Tommy’s home in Manchester was robbed on October 22, and the thieves managed to steal designer clothes and items of jewellery thought to be worth up to £800k.
Breaking her silence on the event to her Instagram fans, Molly had shared a snap of her hand placed in Tommy’s in their car.
She wrote: “I can’t thank you all enough for all of your kind messages regarding what happened to our home last week. We are eternally grateful to have incredible and kind followers. We are safe and that’s all that matters. Onwards and upwards now…””
