The Chase fans were left in disbelief as a player made an “unbelievable” U-turn after answering zero questions correctly in her cash-builder.
Janty made an awful start as she got zero in her first round, so it wasn’t looking good as she went up against Chaser Jenny Ryan.
After the contestant’s disastrous first round, viewers went into meltdown on Twitter.
One said: “Did that actually just happen? That was without a doubt the worst cash builder I’ve ever seen.”
While another penned: “If I got ZERO I wouldn’t go home.”
“First time I’ve ever seen a £0 cash builder on The Chase”, added a third.

Chaser Jenny gave the contestant a high offer of £40,000, which Janty accepted.
In a sensational U-turn, the player answered question after question correctly, bagging the £40,000 for her team and making it through to the final chance after all.
Bradley exclaimed: “That was unbelievable!”
He added: “That will go down in The Chase history.”
Janty was the only contestant to make it through to the final round as she played against the Chase for £40k.

She answered six questions correctly, so taking home the staggering amount of money seemed unlikely.
Jenny caught Janty with plenty of time to spare, but viewers still praised her for making it to the last round after her catastrophic cash-builder.
One said: “Janty, the worst questions ever on her cash builder… what a recovery, you go girl.”

While another viewer gushed: “Zero in the cash builder but taking £40,000 back to the table!
“Love to see it.”
A third penned: “Actual biggest turn around from a contestant I’ve ever seen.”
“How the f*** can you have zero on a cash builder and then take £40 grand back!! Love The Chase”, remarked another.
Earlier in the episode, Bradley was left perplexed over a crab-themed question.
The question was: “What word describes a crab that has been prepared for eating?”
Bradley read out the multiple-choice options: “Decorated, Dressed or Drawn.”
He then seemed taken aback by the question as he remarked with a confused expression on his face: “Is that for real that question?”
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
