Fans of The Chase was completely distracted from the new series of the hit ITV quiz show on Wednesday as Anne Hegerty debuted her new look for the first time.
Bradley Walsh returned as the comical host and introduced Kieran, Dan, Lynne and Katheryn as the four latest quiz heads battling it out to take home the cash prize against The Governess.
But the loyal fanbase of the daytime show couldn’t help but notice the 63-year-old now rocked a shorter pixie cut compared to her usual blonde bob.
However, her latest hair cut has divided viewers while she soon sent the opposing team home emptyhanded.

And it appears even Bradley couldn’t help but notice her new look as he complimented her on the new style while her first component Katheryn took to the podium.
As Anne settled into her chair at the beginning of the show, Bradley shouted: “Anne Hegerty, love your new haircut.”
Proud of her new look, she thanked him for his slew of compliments, noting: “Thank you very much indeed, Bradley.”
He emphasised again: “That is great, you look great,” before Katheryn chimed in with: “I’ve had mine don just like yours.”

After the introductions had been made, viewers soon took to Twitter to share their thoughts on The Chaser’s new hair do.
One fan wrote: “Love the haircut @anne_hegerty” with a heart eyes emoji, as another agreed: “Anne is looking good with the new haircut.”
A third chimed in with: “@anne_hegerty looking b****y good there, Anne. Xx”

Although, the new cut didn’t appeal to everyone as some fans were shocked by the sudden change of style.
One asked: “Anne I love you but wtf is the hair hun xxx” while another simply questioned: “Anne;s hair?”
Another added: “Ok I’m not rude and I don’t mind Anne but the hair,” with five thinking emojis.
A third penned: “Anne having a new hairstyle every episode will never not be funny.”
