ITV viewers have slammed the popular daytime show Tipping Point after fans of the show admitted to being distracted by a “beautiful” contestant on Monday afternoon.
The Good Morning Britain host Ben Shephard, 46, was joined by contestants Roy, Bethany, Luke and Zoe for the hit ITV arcade-style game show.
Initially, fans of the daytime show warmed to the “lovely” and “beautiful” Bethany from Hertfordshire who stood out from her other competitors on the panel.
But the unlucky player lost the support of her viewers after she made a fatal error on the show with her unusual tactics and shocking decisions.
While the much-loved gameshow host is recovering from a horrific injury, the show has had to air repeat episodes for the keen gameshow fans.
But despite the episode being a repeat broadcast, viewers were left in uproar over the suspenseful daytime show just as much as they were the first time around.
As the game got into full swing, Bethany decided to back out of a tricky question and pass to her fellow contestant Zoe rather than taking her turn.
And that decision unfortunately set her back from the rest of the group after the Hertfordshire native failed to push any counters over the tipping point when it was her turn during the second round.
To the pleasure of many viewers, the auburn babe didn’t make it through to the final round of the show and fans couldn’t help but celebrate.
One user mocked Bethany’s poor decision choices, taunting: “That’ll teach Bethany to pass, especially when counters are hanging over the edge. Why would you pass?”
Another agreed: “Well you shouldn’t have passed Bethany should you?”
A third added: “Is there anything more infuriating than watching people press the button at the wrong time. FFS Bethany.”
However, some viewers couldn’t help but notice an instant chemistry between the Ninja Warrior UK host and the fellow contestant.
Fans of the show took to Twitter once more to share their opinions on the growing connection between the competing star and the host.
One user wrote: “Never mind the contestants having a bad day it’s Benny boy having the bad day now Bethany has gone,” while another agreed: “Ben likes Bethany.”
However, the Good Morning Britain heartthrob is a taken man after he married the love of his life more than 17 years ago.
ITV Tipping Point airs each day from 4pm on ITV1 with episodes available on catch up via the ITV Hub.
