Hit girl group The Saturdays formed in 2007 under Fascination Records and began touring with pop icons Girls Aloud after signing their contract.
Vanessa White, Una Healey, Frankie Bridge, Rochelle Humes and Mollie King immediately shot into superstardom after stepping into the spotlight.
Their debut single If This Is Love, which samples Yazoo’s 1982 song Situation, and was an instant success and reached Number 8 in the UK Singles Chart.
Later that year, The Saturdays released their debut electro-dance pop album Chasing Lights, which was re-released in March 2009 to include the official Comic Relief single Just Can’t Get Enough, a cover of Depeche Mode’s 1981 classic.
The group then went on to collaborate with artists such as Flo Rida, Taio Cruz and Alphabeat and have sold over five million records in both the UK and Ireland.
In March 2015, member Mollie told The Irish Independent that the group was on a hiatus, a statement further supported in multiple interviews with other band members in the coming months.
But what have the girls been up to since their time apart?
Una Healy
Before The Saturdays, Una was originally studying and training for a medical career. She was a backing singer at the 2006 Eurovision contest and continued her passion for singing and became one fifth of The Saturdays.
Since the band has taken a break, Una has presented Una’s Dream Ticket, a show that grants the wishes of young people around the country.
She also presents Absolute Radio Country every Saturday morning and has also designed her own shoe range Una Healy Original Collection.
Healy married England rugby player Ben Foden in June 2012 and they welcomed two children together, but unfortunately the pair split six years later in July 2018.
Una was left devastated when Ben admitted infidelity during their marriage, and announced his engagement to socialite Jackie Belanoff-Smith after only two weeks of dating.
Una told the Sun at the time: “When it doesn’t work out, it’s devastating. Totally devastating.
“So that was hard enough, but last summer when he got married again, that was a big shock to me. I was like: ‘Woah, what is this?'”
Mollie King
The Saturdays’ resident blonde bombshell has a number of achievements up her sleeve, including singer, model, actress and radio presenter.
In 2017, she competed in series 15 of Strictly Come Dancing with dancer AJ Pritchard, just missing out on a place in the final.
In June 2018, King joined her fellow co-star Matt Edmundson on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays to present a show on BBC Radio 1, and has been a regular stand-in presenter on This Morning.
The frequent columnist writes Mollie’s Feel Good Feed weekly for Marie Claire magazine and is a proud ambassador for the Dyslexia Association and the Born Free Foundation.
Frankie Bridge
Frankie’s career began from a young age and shot to fame during her days in S Club Juniors. Much like her fellow band member Mollie, Frankie competed in Strictly Come Dancing and came runner up in 2012.
She married her husband Wayne Bridge in 2014 and the couple are parents to two boys. Frankie is an avid mental health advocate and opened up about struggling during her time in The Saturdays.
She has released two books called Open: Why Asking For Help Can Save Your Life and Grow: Motherhood, Mental Health & Me. She is also a panelist on Loose Women and presents the Open Mind podcast.
Rochelle Humes
Rochelle, like Frankie, was a member of S Club Juniors, although back then her last name was Wiseman. Rochelle married her husband and JLS member Marvin Humes in 2012 and the two pop stars have had three children together.
She has turned her career path toward presenting, having hosted Ninja Warrior UK, This Morning and The Hit List alongside her husband.
She has also written a children’s book called The Mega Magic Hair Swap and has created a line of children’s hair care products called My Little Coco.
Rochelle also defended the group after rapper Example revealed he turned down the chance to work with them, telling BBC Newsbeat: “I don’t really work with people I don’t know. Had I been mates with them then I might have worked with them.
“If you just call me up and say, ‘Do you want to do a feature on this girlband’s or boyband’s song?’. If I don’t know them from Adam I’m not doing it. It’s nothing personal.”

He then joked it was because “he fancied them all,” telling Daily Star Sunday: “It’s like when you are in the school playground and you pull a girl’s hair or punch her on the arm because you want to kiss them. That’s what it is with The Saturdays, it’s all about the sexual tension.
“I think Mollie is over-hyped but I would have any of them really. Vanessa looks like she would be a bit greasy which is a good thing, so maybe her first.”
Rochelle responded, saying: “Hopefully our paths will all cross together…6 V 1, silly silly boy! Grow a pair! (sic)”.
Vanessa White
Before her fame with the girl band, Vanessa performed in West End shows and had a passion for theatre.
Since The Saturdays’ hiatus she competed in the 2017 series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!, becoming the fourth person to be voted out that season.
This jet set babe has become an Instagram star, frequently posting outfit snaps and selfies and can often be seen attending showbiz events and parties.
