Ant McPartlin calls I'm A Celeb fans 'idiots' and jokes he's going 'to walk' in live Q&A

Ant McPartlin joked that I’m A Celebrity fans were “idiots” after they suggested that Taylor Swift might go into the jungle.

The TV star and his presenting partner Declan Donnelly hosted a live Q&A after the latest instalment of the ITV show, which saw Boy George, Chris Moyles and Babatunde Aleshe fail miserably in the Angel of Agony trial.

Chat eventually turned to celebs who might sign up for the hit series in the future.

But according to reports, Ant couldn’t hide his disbelief when A-listers like chart-topper Taylor and Ed Sheeran came up.

“Taylor Swift… next year,” he said, after someone mentioned the US star’s name.

“Right, seriously. It’s getting beyond a joke now because you’re an idiot for saying that!” he added.

Dec then mentioned to Ant that somebody had also suggested Shape Of You singer Ed as a possible contestant.

But it seems Ant was pretty sure that neither Taylor nor Ed would be signing up for a stint in the camp any time soon.

Ant teased that he was going to walk off

“You’re a bigger idiot because he’s never going to do it!” he said.

“Taylor Swift’s not going to do it, Ed Sheeran’s not going to do it.

“Peter Kay is NOT going to do it. He’s just announced a tour, you idiot!”

The presenter joked that he was getting wound up by all the outlandish suggestions.

“If this is just going to be you saying a load of famous people’s names who are never going to do the jungle then I’m walking,” he quipped.
