BBC Breakfast’s Owain Wyn Evans made sure to celebrate his 38th birthday in style as rocked an ear lobe piercing while he enjoyed birthday drink.
The 38-year-old took to Instagram to share his milestone moment with his 89,100 followers on social media as he showed off his new accessory.
The blonde hunk decided to style his new piercing with a dangly earring which featured a pink diamante encrusted pink flamingo.
While he shared a sweet selfie alongside his husband, he recalled when he first got the piercing in his youth which he brought back with into style.
Alongside the cute snaps, he asked his loyal legion of fans for their opinions on his new look as he trialed the new accessory online.

He wrote: “I turned 38 today [shocked emoji]. When I was younger I had my ears pierced, it turns out they will still accept a diamante encrusted pendulous pink flamingo [flamingo, nails painting and cry laughing emojis].”
He added: “And so the question is dahlings … have I finally found myself or is this an age related crisis?! Xxx”.

Fans soon flooded to his comments section to share their thoughts on his new look and pass on their happy birthday messages including several of his celebrity friends online.
Fellow Welsh sweetheart Carol Vorderman commented four love heart emojis, while Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell added: “Happy birthday babette [love heart emoji].”
Radio host Zoe Ball chimed in with: “Happy birthday owain [flamingo and love heart emoji].”

It comes after the weatherman dedicated International Women’s Day to his grandmother Clarice Elaine Evans.
Alongside two snaps of his late family member, he gushed over how much she achieved in her life.
He wrote: “On #InternationalWomensDay I want to tell you about Clarice Elaine Evans … my wonderful, inspirational late mamgu (grandmother.)

“She was orphaned and homeless for a time as a small child, something I just cannot imagine.
He added: “Mamgu had a really touch childhood but was strong and loving. She went on to be an incredible mother and grandmother and I used to love spending time with her.
“She passed away in 2007 but today like many days … I am thinking about her wishing she was still with us. She was lovely, and am so glad she was my Mamgu xx”.
