Brooklyn Beckham brutally mocked after making awkward mishap in cooking clip

Brooklyn Beckham’s attempt to whip up a pasta dish left viewers scratching their heads – with one joking that “an Italian person just died”.

The 23-year-old – who is Victoria and David Beckham’s eldest child – loves being in the kitchen and last year he teamed up with Facebook Messenger to make the show Cookin’ With Brooklyn. He also regularly shares the results of his culinary endeavours on Instagram.

But not everyone was convinced by Brooklyn’s lemon chicken with orzo.

The star posted a video on Instagram of him making the dish and some people thought it looked really tasty.

“Looks amazing!” one posted in the comments section, while another chimed in: “Yummy!”

Someone else said the meal looked “delicious”.

“That looks so good my dude!!” said someone else, adding: “I’m gonna try it!!”

“I love you’re a chef – so cool,” someone else posted.

One fan gave Brooklyn “top marks” for “posting relatable and do-able recipes” for his followers.

However, others were less complimentary.

One person suggested it looked “very dry” while another sniped that it was “pretty basic”.

“Every time this video gains a view, an Italian guy dies,” said one.

Another person agreed: “An Italian person just died. But I still like u.”

Meanwhile another chirped: “That’s not orzo, it’s pasta!”

There was also a question about the lemon element of the meal, as some people reckoned they hadn’t seen it go in.

“Am I the only one who didn’t see the lemon?” said one person, adding a puzzled emoji.

“Where is the lemon!??” demanded another.

One particularly unimpressed viewer said they were “crying” watching Brooklyn chop and stir.

Not everyone liked the look of the dish

It’s not the first time that the star’s cookery skills have sparked mixed feelings.

Last year he tickled viewers when he went on the Today Show in America and made a sandwich, which many people thought was a bit simple for a huge show.

And a pizza he recently made for an Instagram video came under fire, with some suggesting it had too much crust.
