Coronation Street legend Sally Dynevor is the sixth celebrity to be booted off ITV skating show Dancing On Ice following a tense skate-off with Kye Whyte.
Though she has remained a firm favourite with fans throughout the competition, Sally’s salon-inspired failed to impress the judges enough to save her this time around.
She performed to the Carpenters hit We’ve Only Just Begun in the skate-off with her professional partner Matt Evers.
Sally’s eviction comes after Happy Mondays legend Bez was booted out of the competition last week after splitting the judging panel between the maraca-toting dancer and actress Sally.
Also not making it through to the final round in previous weeks were Love Islander Liberty Poole – who unfortunately fell over during her final routine – S Club 7 singer Rachel Stevens, TV presenter Ria Hebden and rugby champ Ben Foden.

Speaking to hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby before the result was even announced, Sally admitted: “That was so much fun, but I think it’s time for me to go.”
It comes after Sally – who is best known for playing Sally Metcalfe on the cobbles of Coronation Street – spoke out about the confidence the show has given her.
She told the Sunday Mirror: “I think when you get to a certain age you start to lose confidence in yourself. It’s very different being in your 20s to being in your 50s.
“I just want to say to older women, ‘Let’s not give up, let’s be amazing in our 50s’.”

The star added: “You’ve got to find things that make you happy again. I want to inspire women of my age who are going through the menopause, or perhaps been through it, which is tough.”
And she isn’t the only celeb who has been able to embrace a different side to herself, as Paralympic athlete Stef Reid has also revealed that skating on the show has allowed her a brand-new perspective on her prosthetic leg.

She told The Sun: “We’ve gone with a blade that doesn’t even have a skating boot. It’s saying, ‘Yeah, you should stare at this because it’s awesome’, and I would stare at it too. I think that has probably been the most powerful thing for me – I guess just that whole journey of self-acceptance.”
And speaking of her future Dancing On Ice aspirations, Stef added: “Sometimes it’s fun to do something a bit sexier, to say there are more sides to me than perhaps people have seen.”
Dancing On Ice continues next Sunday from 6:30pm on ITV.
