Daniel Bedingfield unrecognisable in busking video 20 years after finding fame

Singing sensation Daniel Bedingfield looked very different from his former hit making days, as she shared a video of himself busking.

The 43 year old dominated the charts in the early 2000s with songs like I Got To Get Through This and If You’re Not The One.

But since then Daniel has rarely been seen in the limelight but he is still making music for his hardcore fans.

In a recent post on his Instagram from June this year, the musician could be seen performing outside on the street playing guitar.

Tying his long locks into a bun, Daniel could be seen rocking along to his tunes while sat on top of a large scarf.

Meanwhile a fourth fan reflected: “Couple months ago I heard the last couple of seconds of your song If You’re Not the One, and I couldn’t find out the rest of the lyrics until today. Just heard it about 20 times. Thank you for making such a beautiful song.”

Brit Award winner Daniel along with his sister Natasha had the music industry in the palm of their hands.

But things became turbulent for Daniel when he was nearly killed in a serious car accident while in New Zealand.

After his car rolled off the road, the singer was left with severe head and neck injuries.

But Daniel quit music completely because during his recovery period, he also began co-writing for other artists, including American Idol finalist David Archuleta, X Factor winner Ben Haenow and Pixie Lott.

The singer also made a comeback in his home town of New Zealand in 2012, after joining the judging panel for the X Factor.

In 2016, the star returned to the UK and starred in the West End production of Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds. But he decided to quit the production after a few weeks.

Earlier this year, Daniel hinted that he was stuck in America following the coronavirus pandemic.

Taking to his Instagram he wrote: “Loving the strength returning to my heart finally, after all that Trump, covid, stuck in America bulls**t. I’m free!”
