EastEnders viewers have been left scratching their heads as a new villain Nish Panesar appears to be much younger than his on-screen son.
As actor Navin Chowdhry, 51, takes on the role as the convicted murderer who has been released from prison after 20 years, fans believed his youthful looks made it difficult to believe the character was Kheerat’s dad.
“Is it just me or does Kheerat look almost the same age as his dad Both sexy as though,” asked one viewer.

While a fourth agreed: “Kheerat looks older than his Dad, doesn’t he?”
Kheerat actor Jaz Deol is 33-years-old.
Viewers saw Nish attempt to regain his place in the Panesar family and with Suki out the way in Mumbai, he appears to be making moves.
He was seen scouting out the family business and asking to look at the expenses for the business, before Kheerat denied his request.
He was also seen reassuring his kids that he only killed the man to defend his shop, a story that Kheerat knows to be a lie after Suki told him he thought it was her lover.
Fans are already taken by the new villain, with one commented: “nish is so bloody scary already. his obsession and entitlement towards his kids and especially his wife is too real. some men really think they can just come back in and take control like nothing ever happened. #Eastenders.”
Another added: “LOVING the impact Nish is having on the square! The look he gave Stace?? He is gonna be going after her so fast! Asserting his Daddy dominance over Kheerat? #EastEnders.”
Another predicted Nish could take vengeance on Eve if he were to find out she slept with his wife: “Frightening to think what Nish will do to Eve if he finds out about her and Suki. #EastEnders.”
Lily is concerned to learn Amy plans to sleep with Denzel and with Jack and Denise going out for the evening, Amy decides to take advantage of being home alone.
Stacey picks-up that Lily is hiding something and after learning what’s going on, she finds Jack.
Meanwhile, Denzel arrives at Amy’s and tells her he wants to take things slowly. As the two kiss, a raging Jack storms in and slams Denzel against the wall.
