GMB's Ranvir Singh floored as she's 'replaced' by Michelle Keegan lookalike on air

Ranvir Singh was swapped for a “younger and thinner” version of herself as Richard Arnold introduced Metaverse to Good Morning Britain.

The 44-year-old presenter expressed her concern after co-star and Showbiz reporter explained that fashion had turned to Facebook’s – Metaverse – for new virtual catwalks.

He said: “This is me as an avatar in the Metaverse,” as Ranvir asked: “Who’s that?

“Yeah a lot younger, a lot thinner and a lot more teeth, I’ve got a mouth like a blown out fuse box compared to that young man,” joked the celeb correspondent.

Hilariously, none of the ITV clan including Ranvir, Richard Madeley, 65, Sean Fletcher, 47, and weather girl Laura Tobin, 40, looked anything like the digital presenters on-screen.

“Next up, the glamorous trio my colleagues here on the desk. Ranvir they’ve morphed you into either a Kardashian or Michelle Keegan”, added Richard.

Ranvir began to chuckle as she commented: “Happy with that.”

Richard quipped: “Slightly reduced in stature but nevertheless of course but as bombastic as you with your broadcasting style as I’m sure you always are.”

“And Sean, you’re the one who actually come off the best, I think mate,” remarked Richard.

“Do you think?” responded Sean who didn’t sound convinced.

Yeah, I do, I think you’ve come off the best. Particularly when you see Laura. Let’s take a butchers at Laura,” exclaimed the Showbiz expert.

“This doesn’t exactly exile a warm front,” jibbed Richard before adding: “This is how I imagine Laura is at home, you know that sort of sinister being that Laura sometimes channels when she sheds her human form.”

Getting in on the joke, Ravir replied: “She looks like that one from Killing Eve,” as the whole studio fell about laughing.

Worried that the characters could take over, Ranvir prompted: “I don’t think that our team will be poached by Meta, will they for our skills?”

“No, I don’t thinks so” replied Richard.
