Gogglebox's Lee Riley poses with rarely-seen partner Steve in sweet holiday snaps

Gogglebox star Lee Riley has shared a lovely pic with his partner Steve during a holiday to Cyprus.

Steve, who we have never seen on the Channel 4 show, uploaded the pic of the pair on social media earlier this week.

Showing the couple standing against a leafy background, Steve captioned the upload: “So happy to be back for an overnight stay at this idyllic hideaway up in the mountains of Bella Pais here in sunny northern Cyprus.”

Lee shot to fame in 2014 when he joined the cast of Gogglebox for its fourth series alongside best pal Jenny Newby

The cheeky pair have been a barrel of laughs ever since, firm favourites with the show’s loyal viewership.

The show won a BAFTA for Best Reality and Constructed Factual show and Lee spoke at the winner’s press conference after their momentous success.

Lee spilt the beans on the behind-the-scenes action from the pair’s wilder days, back when they first appeared on the show.

Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star: “Jenny, when she used to smoke, she used to walk out and I’d go, ‘Aren’t we be supposed to watching this?’ Halfway through, you forget.

The duo also used to enjoy a drink together but decided to turn over a new leaf after they saw themselves on the television.

Lee continued: “We used to drink, me and Jenny, I think I saw one episode in 2014 and I was there, slurring. It’s not good, so I stopped drinking [on the show] because I don’t know when to stop.”

He went on to speak about Jenny and how the pair deal with fans who question them about the show in public.

The reality star recalled a time when they didn’t watch themselves back once the show had been aired.

Lee admitted that Jenny “didn’t watch the show for three years” but she decided to give it a go as “people would come up to her” and ask her about things she had said.

As “it’s all edited,” the duo “didn’t know what was going on” and that they “forgot what they had said,” so Jenny decided to watch herself back “so she could respond to people”.
