Helen Skelton broke the official Ascot dress code as she let her hair down at the races.
The former Blue Peter presenter, 38, attended the Ladies Day festivities at the Berkshire race course on Thursday alongside a number of other female celebrities including This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby, Loose Women’s Ruth Langsford and I’m a Celeb winner Georgia Toffolo.
Helen attended the event in a hot pink halter neck jumpsuit.
The recently separated star sizzled in the one-piece garment which she paired with a black satchel purse and a large white hat adorned with flowers.
Helen shared a picture of the fabulous ensemble to Instagram on Friday (June 17) alongside the caption: “Day for it, thanks for having us.”
While she looked stunning in her jumpsuit, Helen did forego the official Ladies Day dress code by wearing a halter neck strap.
A style guide published on the official Ascot website reads: “Ladies are kindly reminded that formal daywear is a requirement in the Royal Enclosure, defined as follows:
“Dresses and skirts should be of modest length defined as falling just above the knee or longer.
“Dresses and tops should have straps of one inch or greater. Strapless, off the shoulder, halter neck and spaghetti straps are not permitted.”
Also at risk of breaking the fashion rules was Lady Victoria Hervey.
The socialite, 45, attended the event in a sheer top though “sheer straps and sleeves” are also not permitted at the event.
Narrowly, Lady Victoria seemed to remain in the remit of the dress code by wearing a white blazer over her blouse.
While just about keeping in line with the dress code, the model did appear braless as she posed for photographs at the event.
She finished her looked with a wide-rimmed white hat and matching white trousers, accessorising her look with a number of baby pink accessories including a clutch bag, stiletto heels and a baby pink manicure.
Lady Victoria’s Ladies Day attendance follows her recently walking the Cannes Film Festival red carpet in a stunning gold Scott Henshall gown.
