Gogglebox stars have become firm favourites with Channel 4 viewers for almost a decade.
The very first episode of the comedy series hit television screens in March 2013.
However, the cast has been through few shake-ups over the years with cast members falling out and family members deciding to quit the show.
As armchair critics have come and gone, other family members have stepped in to dish out their TV critiques in their place.
As the show returns to our screens on February 18, Daily Star have a taken a look at some of the Gogglebox stars who’ve been replaced over the years.
Tom Malone Jr was replaced by sister Vanessa

In 2021, Tom Malone Jr was replaced by his sister Vanessa when he announced that he was leaving the show.
Tom had joined the series along with his family in 2014, but in February last year he announced that new opportunities were knocking on the door that he was “back on the market”.
The following month his sister Vanessa made her debut on the show, surprising fans who hadn’t realised she even existed.

“Where has she been all this time??” several fans tweeted.
Since leave Gogglebox, Tom has apparent on Celebrity Coach Trip with his model girlfriend Bryony Bisoce.
It has recently been announced that Tom has signed up to star on new TV show The Real Dirty Dancing.
Sandi replaced by Sandra’s daughter Chanchez

Sandi Bogle and her best pal Sandra Martin appeared together on the show from when it first started.
They were a huge hit with fans but Sandi decided to move on in 2016.
Sandra chose to stay on anyway so got her daughter Chanchez to take Sandi’s place alongside her.
However, Sandra went on to quit the following year.

For Sandi, post-Gogglebox life opened the doors to other projects and a TV career including appearances on Celebrity Big Brother, 100% Hotter, On the Farm and Fat Fighters.
She also appeared in Channel 4’s Famous and Fighting Crime. Unfortunately, Sandra’s life after Gogglebox has been less illustrious.
But, having suffered health issues, financial problems and family tragedies, Sandra’s life seems to be back on track and is fully documented on TikTok.
Chris Ashby-Steed replaced by Stephen’s mum
Chris Ashby-Steed was also of the Gogglebox’s originals, and appeared on the show with his pal Stephen Webb.
But in 2018 he revealed he was quitting the programme and that he would be replaced with Stephen’s mum, Pat.
Chris said he had loved every minute of being on the series but that it was time to take “the plunge” and try something new.

A source told The Sun at the time: “It’s a big move by the producers.
“Chris is the biggest star to leave the show since Scarlett Moffatt.
“Stephen has sorted out a deal with the producers. He can carry on appearing in the show with his mum.”
Chris has since moved on and is married to husband Tony.
Stephen’s mum replaced by husband Daniel

Pat continued on the show until the following year, when she gave up her place for Stephen’s husband Daniel.
Stephen and Daniel got engaged in 2016 and tied the knot in 2018 in a gorgeous ceremony at the Chateau de Lisse in Lot-et-Garonne in France.
The following year, Pat said goodbye to Gogglebox and Daniel took over.
Fans were sad to see Pat go and for a while the hashtag #bringbackpat became a thing.
But viewers soon grew to love seeing newlyweds Stephen and Daniel together.
Sheila Hancock replaced by Maureen Lipman

There has also been the odd swap around in the celebrity edition of the show.
Actress Sheila Hancock originally starred in the series with her pal Gyles Brandreth, but she decided not to return for another instalment.
It was then announced that Maureen Lipman would be joining Gyles.
However, the screen legend’s stay on the show was short-lived and in December she said she wouldn’t be returning.

Speaking on Loose Women, she said one of the shows she’d had to watch was Naked Attraction.
“I’ve seen all the male tackle that I need to see for this lifetime, to be honest, I really have,” she said. “I’ve run through my period of going (shocked noises), ‘Oh, get it off!’ Gyles loves it, he absolutely loves it and we had such a good time but none of the clever things we said went into it… so no.”
