Harry Styles set the world alight when he auditioned for The X Factor aged 16 and ultimately was put with Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik to form One Direction.
The group quickly shot to stardom and were soon multi-millionaires in their own right, with fans all over the world desperate to get a glimpse of them at a concert or a signing.
Even after One Direction ultimately went their separate ways, they all remained successful as solo artists, and Harry is still unforgettable.

From his chart-topping success to his impressive move to the world of movies and TV, Harry hasn’t slowed down since he left One Direction.
Although conversations constantly flit around whether the group will reunite for another tour, it seems music is only part of Harry’s ever-growing repertoire.
As the singer turns 28, Daily Star has looked into his life and successes after his many years in showbiz.
First job

Harry hustled from the get-go and landed a Saturday job at W Madeville bakery where he earned £6 an hour at the age of 14.
He works there for two years before he left to continue on his rising path to stardom after One Direction was formed.
Three years after he left, Harry returned to his old rob in Cheshire to film footage for the One Direction movie, This Is Us, as he put on his bakers uniform for a final time.
At the time, former boss Simon Wakefield said: “He was the most polite member of staff we’ve ever had.
“Customers really took a shine to him.”
X Factor success

Although Harry didn’t get through as a solo artist, he was joined by his fellow bandmates to form One Direction, which ultimately went on to become one of the most successful artists from the ITV show.
One Direction came third place in 2010, but shot to fame incredibly quickly while they were on the show.
When their first song, What Makes You Beautiful, was released on September 11, 2011, it peaked at number 1 and ended up spending a whopping 78 weeks in the charts.

After One Direction went their separate ways in 2015, Harry embarked on a solo career which saw him release his first single on April 7.
Titled Sign of the Times, fans were happy to see him back in the ring and focusing on releasing music once again.
As Harry took to the stage once again he began performing What Makes You Beautiful as his own version, keeping fans nostalgic for his career with his former bandmates.
The 10 year anniversary of the group rolled around in 2020, and although they didn’t announce their reunion, fans are still hopeful that some kind of tour together will be on the cards eventually.
Acting career

Harry Styles has also boasted an impressive acting career since he stepped away from the world of music.
In fact, following his split from One Direction, one of his first big projects was working on movie Dunkirk, which was released in 2017 and became his first non One Direction movie credit.
Since then, he’s also appeared in Eternals and has a movie titled Don’t Worry Darling expected to come out this year.
Romance

Harry had a very turbulent love life in the early days of his One Direction career, particularly after his first celebrity relationship was thrust into the public eye.
He met the late Caroline Flack when she was a presenter on The X Factor, and months later the pair began dating.
At the time, Harry was 17 while Caroline was 31, which resulted in a lot of negative reactions from the public. After a long time of receiving negative comments from fans, the pair split.
Harry’s next serious relationship was with Taylor Swift, but after their split Taylor soon brought out ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ which fans have continuously connected to the One Direction star.

Harry has also dated Kendall Jenner on and off over the years, but they called time on their romance for good in 2016.
The singer has since been dating Olivia Wilde, with the pair confirming their romance in January 2021, but it was reported that they were dating for a little while before that.
Harry is settled with Olivia and is gearing up to go on yet another world tour this year.
