Jason Manford asks for Freddo bars to be put in his dressing room when he does gigs.
The comic, 40, likes to blag the iconic chocs because they’ve gone up in price.
Years ago they were just 10p, but now they cost more than double that at 25p each.
Jason got his first batch of freebie Freddos while filming ITV show Starstruck – and now he always asks for them.
He said: “I was given some Freddos in my dressing room, that gave me the idea to start asking for them.
“I got given caramel ones, which I didn’t even know they did and I love them.

“The thing is, they’re 25p now – I’m livid. I loved it when they were 10p.”
Jason was treated to plenty of snacks while making Starstruck.
He confessed: “It was a bit of a snack fest. We had long filming sessions because sometimes we’d do two episodes in a day, so they were definitely across it when it came to snacks.”
Jason is earning his Freddos because he has helped Starstruck become a big hit for ITV on Saturday nights.

It sees tribute acts competing to win a cash prize, just like on Stars In Their Eyes.
Jason said: “I like to think that I’m a bit of a laugh.
“I hope to not be taking it too seriously and enjoy the fun of it all.
“It’s a big Saturday night ball of fun really. It’s singing, it’s dancing, it’s pyrotechnics, it’s laughs. It’s a perfect hour of entertainment.”
