Kimberly Wyatt admits she feels like the 'underdog' going in to Dancing On Ice final

Kimberly Wyatt has admitted she feels like the “underdog” as she skates into the Dancing On Ice final.

The Pussycat Dolls stunner will go up against former Strictly pro Brendan Cole and dancer Regan Gascoigne in the finale this weekend.

All three have smashed it in the competition so far – with Kimberly earning her share of perfect 10s.

But she confessed she still feels as if she’s lagging behind the boys a bit.

Speaking on Heart radio, she said: “In the semi-final I ended up in the skate-off, so I do feel a bit… I’m actually kind of grateful that I got to do it because I love the skate-off I did.

“So I do feel a bit like an underdog going into the final but I’m just excited to go out there and lay it all out on the ice.”

The finale will see the contestants performing more routines than usual in front of judges Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, Oti Mabuse and Ashley Banjo.

Kimberly – who is skating with pro partner Mark Hanretty in the ITV show – said: “I’m excited about the four dances and I think it is going to be an epic night.

“And I really want to do the Boléro as only the top two get to do it!”

The blonde also revealed that her first dream as a child had been to be an ice-skater.

But when she started to realise that it wasn’t going to come true, she got into dance.

Kim, 40, said it was hard to pick whether Brendan of Regan would be her toughest competition.

“It’s a tough one you know,” she said.

“Because they both bring something so different.

“Brendan is such an experienced dancer and is so good at partnering. Regan has this young tenacity about him and is great on the dancefloor, so they just bring such different flavours.”

“I feel like I’m the glue between the two boys,” she added.

The Dancing On Ice final takes place on Sunday March 27.

Viewers had expected to be watching it on March 20 but it was pushed back a week because of football airing on ITV.
