Chiseled welsh student Liam Llewellyn has been announced as an official contestant on Love Island 2022.
The nation’s favourite dating show is returning for its eighth series and there is a host of sexy new singletons looking for love.
22-year-old Liam, who is a Masters student in Strength & Conditioning, is next in line to head to the infamous villa and he sees joining the popular ITV show as “a great opportunity to meet someone.”
Asked why he thinks now is the perfect time, he said: “I think 22 is a really nice age to meet someone, you’ve got your years ahead of you so you have time to experience stuff and grow together.”
On entering the villa with a group of singletons, Liam believes being in that environment will help determine what he likes about people.
He said: “I think Love Island is a great opportunity to meet someone, you’re in with a load of different types, so you can get to grips with what you really like about people.”
When asked how others would describe him, the 22-year-old said the opinion differs depending on who he asks.
He joked: “If you ask my mum, probably a little s**t,” before adding “No, I’m a good kid, she knows that.”
However his friends would say Liam is “quite generous, quite caring, happy, chatty, chirpy, and bubbly.”
The student went on to say he finds it difficult to hide how he feels about someone because he is “quite emotional” as a person.
He quipped: “I wear my heart on my sleeve, I can’t hide how I feel about anyone. I’m probably quite emotional as well come to think about it.
Giving away his tricks to impress a girl, Liam confessed his top top is to “pay them a compliment!”
“The thing that girls quite like is that I’m not just like, “You’re mint.” I’m like, “Your eyes are piercing, I’m lost in your eyes.” Or I’ll say something like, “You’ve got nice feet” or something.”
Paige Thorne, 24, Dami Hope, 26, and Indiyah Polack, 23, are also among those confirmed as new contestants for the highly anticipated upcoming series.
