Former Love Island star Zara McDermott has been rushed to hospital after suffering “excruciating pain”.
The stunning 25-year-old TV star, who is currently shacked up with Made In Chelsea hunk Sam Thompson, revealed that she had suffered a painful “burst cyst”.
Taking to Instagram to share the worrying news with her loyal legion of followers, Zara shared a snap from her hospital bed.

She could be seen without an ounce of makeup on and looking completely unrecognisable from her glamorous self.
With tubes and a canula inserted into her arm, it was clear to see that the star has received some medicine or had her bloods checked.

In the snap she pulled a disgruntled face, which proved she was in a lot of pain.
Alongside the snap she spoke of the “eventful” and “painful” ordeal which took place on Friday night (December 2).
She wrote: “Wow last night was so eventful!
“Sam had to rush me to A&E because I had excruciating pain in my abdomen – had a feeling it was a burst cyst on my ovary because I’ve had it before on my other side and it felt similar.”

She went on: “I just want to say the A&E team were just incredible.
“I was seen so quickly and had all tests and scans done within two hours of being there.
“They wanted to keep me in overnight but after all the pain relief I felt a lot better so I had a few hours in bed before heading back this morning for another few scans.”
Zara continued: “They want to make sure my ovary isn’t twisted as I was presenting with all symptoms last night.

“But likely burst cyst, which if you have had it before is excruciating.”
She later revealed on her Instagram stories that she now feels “so much better” and is on “strong pain meds” to combat the pain.
Zara shot to fame in 2018 on the fourth series of Love Island.
Coupling up with Adam Collard, the tattooed hunk even got her initial tattooed on his hand – only for the couple to part ways soon after.
Zara is now happily loved up with Sam from the hit reality show set in Chelsea, London.
