Married at First Sight UK contestant Richie Dews won the heats of the nation when he embarked on his journey to find love on the E4 social experiment.
The 51-year-old musician and his bride Lara Eyre appeared on hit it off immediately.
They enjoyed a wedding ceremony with their nearest and dearest before heading off on honeymoon.

However, the romance soon fizzled out between the pair and the both decided to leave the show in emotional scenes.
As Richie’s rollercoaster love life takes another turn, Daily Star has taken a look inside his life.
Music career

Singer-songwriter and guitarist Richie, originally from Manchester, was a member of the band Dare.
The group, from Oldham, was fronted by former Thin Lizzy keyboard player Darren Wharton.
Formed in 1985, former members also include physicist Professor Brian Cox from the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Manchester.
The keyboardist was a member of Dare in the 80s and early 90s before joining the pop band D:Ream who had a number one hit with Things Can Only Get Better.
Dating show past

Richie appeared on TV before joining the cast of MAFS UK.
He broke down in tears while looking for love on Paddy McGuinness’ now axed ITV show Take Me Out
He took part in the second series of the ITV dating show when he was 39 back in 2010.
Richie bagged himself a date on Tasha after serenading her in the studio.
The pair seemed to hit it off after they enjoyed a water sports date and then went out for a romantic candle lit dinner.
Two men with guitars appeared and started playing the song that he played on the show, and Richie’s emotions got the better of him.
As he wiped away the tears from his face, he said: “That’s my song!”
Richie also appeared on the tenth series of Take Me Out.
Celebrity lookalikes

As well as recognising Richie from Take Me Out, Married At First Sight UK fans spotted his uncanny celeb lookalikes.
Some viewers have taken to Twitter to suggest he looks like all of Take That.
One fan tweeted: “Richie kind of looks like someone put every current member of Take That in a blender.”
“Richie looks like all of Take That combined”, a second person wrote.
While a third social media user said: “Richie actually looks like a Take That member.”
Shock split

Richie and wife Lara decided to leave the experiment during the second commitment ceremony last week.
The rocker delighted viewers as he performed a specially written song for his new bride who he first met at the alter.
However, it wasn’t meant to be for the newlyweds.
Through teary eyes, Lara explained that her husband was a “great guy” but he wasn’t the man for her.
Richie said it would be “painful” for both of them if he chose to write “stay” and so agreed with his wife that it was time to go.
Frustration
Richie has recently expressed his annoyance after a “great” scene didn’t make the final edit.
He told Daily Star that he wished E4 viewers saw one key scene.
The musician explained said: “I did get to chat to the father-of-the-bride at the wedding and he was a really lovely guy.
“So I kind of wish this had made the cut and some of his great speech had been included.
“Aside, the viewers definitely missed out on the bridge and chorus of the wedding song.”
Married at First Sight UK airs Monday to Thursday on E4 at 9pm
