Love Island’s Molly-Mae Hague looks completely unrecognisable in a throwback teen snap before any cosmetic work – nine years ago.
The blonde beauty is known for always looking ultra glamorous on her Instagram feed, and when she first popped up in Love Island back in 2019 she was known for her plumped lips and long hair extensions.
A snap has now emerged of the PrettyLittleThing creative director years before she found fame on the ITV2 reality-come-dating programme.
Having a meal with her mum back in 2013, Molly-Mae – who was 14 years of age – could be seen wearing a simple red t-shirt, with her blonde locks down and styled in curls.
Grinning for the camera, the influencer looked youthful and full of contentment.
In recent years Molly-Mae has been trying to harness her more natural look after becoming “obsessed” with trying to look older with the help of fillers and other augmentations.
Ditching lip fillers and facial injectables, Molly-Mae has opted to have everything dissolved in a bid to look more natural.
As well as ditching fillers, she’s also bid farewell to long hair extensions, now often opting for her natural length style.
She first got her lips done when she was just 17, and composite veneers put on days before entering the Love Island villa in 2019.
But at 23 years of age, Molly-Mae has now recognised the “vicious cycle” of cosmetic procedures that she was in.
On her YouTube channel last autumn, Molly-Mae opened up about reversing and dissolving her cosmetic procedures.
She explained: “This is something I’ve been putting off now for the last six months. I am getting my lips dissolved.
“My lip filler journey has been a very, very long one. I’ve been getting my lips filled with filler since I was about 17 which is literally ridiculous.”
She has since urged fans who want to get similar fillers and cosmetic procedures to “just wait”.
She said: “Wait a good few years until your face has matured until you get a little bit older and then make decisions about cosmetic work and stuff.”
Molly-Mae also captioned a video: “Please don’t make the same mistakes I did.”
