A British horror film has been deemed one of the “most disturbing” things ever by viewers.
The chilling new flick has horrified some horror fans so much that it caused them to walk out of the cinema halfway through the screening.
The A24 movie in question, called Men, is directed by Alex Garland, who is famed for hit movies like Annihilation and Ex Machina.
It follows widow Harper (Jessie Buckley) who flees to the English countryside amid the tragic death of her husband.
Although the trip is supposed to help heal her grief and sorrow, it quickly turns into a mind-boggling nightmare when she finds out somebody is stalking her.
Harper desperately tries to seek out help in the surrounding village, but things only get worse for the widow as she’s preyed on by her darkest fears and memories.
One spine-tingling scene, which involves actor Rory Kinnear, is said to be incredibly difficult to sit through.
The shape-shifting horror film has terrified viewers online – with some branding Men one of the most disturbing things they’ve ever seen.
One wrote: “The new #a24 movie is one of the most disturbing things I’ve ever seen.”
Another said: “I JUST SAW MEN DEFINITELY ONE OF THE MOST DISTURBING SCENES EVER OH MY GOD WHAT WAS THAT @A24.”
A third complained: “@A24 y’all need to be arrested for the psychological damage your movies do to me.”
A fourth added: “I’ve seen a lot of disturbing, horrifying horror movies, but Men really made me want to walk out the theatre from being so disturbed.”
Many said they’d spotted people walking out of the cinema as they were so shocked by the scenes.
One claimed: “If you’re thinking about watching A24’s MEN DON’T bro OML I have never seen multiple people walk out of a theater before.
“If I had the opportunity to capture my face in the last act I would because I have no words to describe it.”
“Watched @A24 #MenMovie and during the final scene I saw some men walk out lmao,” another added.
A24’s Men is out in cinemas now.
