British television and radio presenter Nick Grimshaw has been entertaining the nation and inspiring the youth for a number of years.
Hosting Radio 1 Breakfast for 14 years the star became a household name after appearing as an X Factor judge in 2015.
In recent times, the 38-year-old has become a regular on Channel 4’s Celebrity Gogglebox.

But as he’s known to rub shoulders with the stars, Nick has also been had some unexpected feuds during his time in the limelight.
As he celebrates his birthday today (August 14), Daily Star has taken a look through his bitter conflicts throughout his career.
Louis Tomlinson
In 2013, Nick became involved in a heated disagreement with One Direction star Louis Tomlinson.
The unexpected feud began when the singer tweeted that he couldn’t depart his Australian hotel room due to the paparazzi.
However Nick jumped on his Radio one show to call out Louis for his Twitter outburst where he called the paps “t***s”.
Alluding to Louis’ tweet, Nick said: “I love a complainy popstar. It’s my favourite thing. All complainy. ‘I can’t go outside because I’m famous’.
Hearing Nick’s comments on air, Louis tweeted a subtle diss at the presenter stating Chris Moyles as a better presenter than him.
As various tweets between the pair began to fire back and forth, band member Zayn Malik wrote: “Don’t know why people always have to get brave ? Mind your own business.”
Louis Walsh
When Nick replaced X Factor judge Lois Walsh on the show in 2015, Lois had quite a lot to say about the matter and it wasn’t good.
During an interview with former Gogglebox stars Steph and Dominic Parker on their Channel 4 chat show, Louis let loose and described Nick as “bad booking”.
He said: “He’s a nice enough guy but he’s like a groupie. You only ever see him with famous people.”
But by the following year, Nick decided to hit back at Lois and his remarks.
Speaking candidly to the Mirror the music lover said: “He just says things to court controversy and publicity.
“I don’t really pay too much attention to what he says. Whenever I see him he’s always super-lovely to me and we always have a laugh.”
Despite Nick’s comments, Lois spoke out again about the previous X Factor panel, which included singer Rita Ora, when Nick left the show.
He said: “Sharon and I are old, but that also means we’re far more experienced. Unlike the young whippersnappers on last year’s panel, who didn’t know a thing about talent.
“Sharon and I pushed for Nicole (Scherzinger) right from the start – we didn’t want Rita Ora. The panel didn’t have the right credentials. They were lightweight.”
Simon Cowell
Music mogul Simon Cowell thought Nick would be a great addition to The X Factor in 2015, however rumours began to circulate that Simon may have wanted him gone sooner than many realised.
Although Simon was happy to bring Nick onto show, analysis began to suggest that he may not have been received well by viewers.
Talking to The Sun, a source said at the time: “Grimmy has been a dead man walking for a long time, his time on the X Factor was numbered from day one.
“There was even talk of getting rid of him mid series, but that would have been too embarrassing and to be fair Grimmy’s performance did improve during the live rounds.”

The source added: “The reality is that Grimmy was panned by the public after the first episode in August and Simon made his mind up then.”
However Nick quit the show prematurely and a spokesperson for the TV star said: “After careful consideration, Nick’s decided to rule himself out as a judge on this year’s X Factor,” Nick’s spokesman said.
“He loved working on last year’s series alongside Rita, Cheryl and Simon but it was very much a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
“He remains a massive fan of the show and is looking forward to watching it this year.”
Anton Stephens
As well as having feuds with X Factor judges, it looks like Nick also had conflict with contestants on the show.
After exchanging fiery words on the programme and questioning his authenticity, Nick labelled singer Anton Stephens a “lame-o” while on his Breakfast show.
However Anton hit back at Nick while appearing on ITV’s This Morning.
When presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield asked about their row, Anton said: “I think that it’s one thing playing music on the radio and having popstars as friends, but it’s something else to be on stage and actually do it.
“Three of those other judges understand what it takes to do that.
“I’m an absolutely authentic, genuine person, I have fought a long time in my life to be who I am.”
