I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Nicola McLean has revealed why her GG implants were a “nightmare” during trials when she appeared on the show in 2008.
Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star, the former glamour model, 41, told viewers that the silicone implants caused her to maintain a lower body temperature as the silicone itself does not retain heat.
“once it’s [the silicone] cold it takes hours to heat up so it was a nightmare,” revealed Nicola.

She added that it was particularly difficult during water trials as she would be freezing cold for longer than her campmates.

“When we had to do water challenges it was hard, so I’d always been moaning about it.
“They go freezing yeah and they don’t heat up so you stay cold for so much longer.
“It doesn’t hurt but it’s freezing like someone had ice packs on you.”
She also claimed her famous nip slip incident was not intentional after her nippled popped out during a shower in the famous waterfall.

“You get a modesty smock and it was a nightmare and I found a way not to use it and I just had an accident. It is what it is,” she said.
Nicola also revealed on our Facebook Live chat that she was able to duck out of a trial during her time on I’m A Celebrity due to the size of her implants.
“There was something in there, I can’t remember exactly but I couldn’t do a trial because of my implants,” she told the Daily Star.
“There was something with a harness because we were worried they’d end up around the back, as implants can move, but yeah I can’t remember what it was but I wasn’t allowed to do something.

“Maybe it was laying on my front in the challenge that I couldn’t do, as they were in the way or something but they’re always in the way, to be honest,” she added.
The star blasted this year’s ITV campmates for not “grilling” Matt Hancock” enough as the controversial MP steals the spotlight on the show.
Nicola reckons if she went into the jungle she would handle things with Matt totally differently.
In her first I’m A Celeb column, Nicola unleashed her thoughts on the ITV campmates saying they’ve “bottled it” and have “disappointed” her.
