The Chase viewers were left utterly distracted after they spotted “Anne Robinson” compete on the hugely popular daytime show.
During Tuesday’s visit to the ITV studios, the TV host introduced four new quizzers onto the show looking to put their general knowledge to the test.
As fans tuned in for the primetime show, the former Coronation Street star introduced contestants Rachel, Shelby, Fergus and Jen onto the show before they battled it out to take home the all-important cash prize.

This week, the quartet were up against Darragh ‘The Menace’ Ennis who made sure to bring his A-game as he showed off his impressive intelligence during the quiz.
On the show, the TV presenter invited contestants up to the pedestal to fight their way to the final round against the former researcher.
As the English teacher wowed viewers with her impressive general knowledge, fans flooded to Twitter to point out her similarity to former Countdown presenter Anne Robinson.
The bright contestant managed to rake in an eye-watering £9,000 during her quick-fire cash builder round much to the surprise of her fellow teammates.
But unfortunately, Rachel was unable to sustain her winning streak after the Darragh caught her out in the difficult head-to-head round.
Taking to Twitter, viewers couldn’t help but point out her likeness to the former Weakest Link presenter on the show.
One user penned: “She is like a young Anne Robinson though #TheChase.”
Another joked: “Anne Robinson is doing well after leaving Countdown #TheChase.”

A third quipped: “The Anne Robinson fan club is pretty good [thumbs up emoji] #TheChase.”
But she wasn’t the only contestant who bore a striking resemblance to a famous figure after Bradley Walsh welcomed “Shaggy from Scooby Doo” onto the ITV show.
As Fergus made his way down to the nail-biting head-to-head round, he joked: “Now we’re going to hear from Shaggy from Scooby Doo” as the studio erupted into laughter on set.
