This Morning fans were left in hysterics after Alison Hammond made a cheeky “bone in mouth” comment to Dermot O’Leary while he debuted his cooking skills.
The pair were hosting the latest episode of the ITV show, taking over from regular presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on the first day of half-term.
In celebration of Valentine’s Day, Dermot stepped up to flaunt his culinary skills and prepared a romantic sea bass meal in the kitchen, when a naught comment from Alison caught viewers off guard.
Of the fish, Alison said: “I don’t want to have any bones.
“Once I have a bone in my mouth, as soon as I have that bone, it’s over. It’s game over and I put the meal down. I don’t want a bone.”
She later added: “I don’t want to have a bone because once I have a bone, it puts me off my meal.”
As Alison and Dermot remained deadpan, This Morning viewers were left in hysterics.
Posting to Twitter, one fan wrote: “A bone in your mouth, Alison?!”
Another commented: “Showing my immaturity and terrible brain by giggling after hearing Alison say “I don’t wanna bone” on #ThisMorning.”
A third said: “Bone in mouth. Cue the gifs.”
Meanwhile, another said: “Once I have a bone in my mouth” Can you imagine if this was Phillip’s and Holly’s #ThisMorning – The programme would have ended early for the day.”
“I’m quite partial to a bone in my mouth,” another cheeky viewer concluded.
Following Dermot’s cooking segment, Alison stepped up to flaunt her baking skills.
The 47-year-old presenter baked her famous dark chocolate brownies for an impressed Dermot, who posed seductively towards camera with a rose between his teeth – much to Alison’s amusement.
“I love you,” she told Dermot while laughing.
This Morning airs from 10am on weekdays on ITV.
