She’s already had to deal with a furious backlash from people claiming she skipped the lying-in-state queue at Westminster.
But This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby clearly has her hands full this week as she had to break up a heated clash between her ITV co-stars on Wednesday morning (September 21).
Holly issued a warning to her fellow presenters Matthew Wright and Vanessa Feltz during a segment about the royal family’s coronation.

It follows reports that King Charles has been planning a coronation ceremony that will be less costly than his mother’s due to the cost of living crisis, and that he is set to unveil a “slimmed down” monarchy which could mean fewer working royals.
Matthew launched into a passionate rant where he raised concerns about how much the royal family cost the general public in a time where working families are struggling to make ends meet.
He said: “The Queen’s coronation in 1953 cost tax payers £1.7 million pounds which sounds like a reasonable sum of money, but when you look at what that costs in today’s money, it’s sort of above £45 million.
“So when Charles or his camp talk about a slimmed down coronation, there’s a hell of a lot of wiggle room at £47 million!”
He later suggested the country should have a referendum about the cost of royal events such as the coronation.
Matthew went on: “I’ve been looking at the cost of the monarchy for more than thirty years and there’s no evidence that makes this case that they bring in more than they cost. Let’s test it! Let’s have those discussions with King Charles and see what the British public actually wants.”
Holly interjected: “We did see the British public unite, though? And I think that,” but she was cut off by Matthew who suggested plenty of the public who had concerns about the royals “kept their heads down” after the Queen’s death out of respect.
But Vanessa stuck up for the royals when she said: “If you boil it down across the country, how much would the coronation really cost? The cost of a burger?”
Matthew hit back: “But look at the children who don’t get fed…. what do I care more about, starving children in my own country or pageantry and tradition? Let’s deal with [starvation] first!”
He later said: “I’ve kept my mouth shut for over a week. I’ve kept my real feelings subdued. I think we should worry about people starving before we worry about putting magnificent jewels on peoples’ magnificent heads. That’s just how I am.”
Vanessa made the point that the new King might bring in a new level of self funding, but the pair ended up throwing shots at each other as she said Matthew spoke in ‘tabloid headlines’ and he said she does ‘tabloid TV’.
Eventually Holly said: “Behave yourselves!” as Phil added: “You can crack on again in a second.”
