BBC star Zoe Ball broke down in tears as she remembered “incredible” Olivia Newton-John on her radio show.
Grease legend Olivia passed away on Monday (8 August) at the age of 73 after battling breast cancer.
Zoe, 51, paid tribute to the actress as she hosted her BBC breakfast show on Tuesday, saying she was an “incredible lady” and said her thoughts were with her family.

The presenter’s voice wobbled as she read out moving messages from listeners sharing their own reflections and memories of the actress.
“You know, you never hear anyone say anything about Olivia other than she was just gorgeous, a lovely lady, with a beautiful smile and so much fun as well,” she said.
Zoe went on to play the track Magic from Olivia’s 1980 musical fantasy film Xanadu, as she urged the star to “rest well”.
After it had finished she admitted that hearing the song had made her emotional.
Apologising to listeners, she said tearfully: “I am so sorry but that has really made me cry.”
Olivia passed away at her home in Southern California on Monday surrounded by her family and friends, following a long battle with cancer.
The actress found fame as Sandra Dee in 1978’s mega-hit Grease, which co-starred John Travolta as her love interest Danny Zuko.
He was among those to post condolences on social media after the actress passed away.
“My dearest Olivia, you made all of our lives so much better,” John posted on Instagram, alongside an old photo of the late star.

“Your impact was incredible. I love you so much.”
John, whose wife Kelly Preston died in 2020 after also fighting cancer, went on: “We will see you down the road and we will all be together again.
“Yours from the first moment I saw you and forever!
“Your Danny, your John!”
