Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen has revealed one of her children was airlifted to hospital recently.
The mother-of-nine, 48, is best known for appearing on the Channel 5 series with her family.
Despite being used to the dangers on the farm, Amanda admits it was still “scary” when one of her brood fell ill last month.

Amanda told Times Radio : “Three weeks before Christmas, we had another medical emergency on the farm.
“And that was a scary one whereby one of the children was taken ill and that involved a helicopter coming, the air ambulance coming to pick us up…people say it must be amazing living rural, living the way you do.
“That’s one of the drawbacks.”
It comes after Amanda revealed her first solo project since her heartbreaking split from husband Clive Owen– and she’s moving away from Channel 5.
The Yorkshire Shepherdess will soon be seen taking the lead in new More4 programme Amanda Owen’s Extraordinary Farming Lives.
In the new show, which will broadcast on Wednesday, January 27, Amanda will meet farmers from across the country to find out what life is like for them.
Amanda and Clive split up last year and Clive has subsequently gone on to have an Our Yorkshire Farm spin-off show with their son Reuben, while the duo co-parent their brood.
Talking about her new show, Amanda said: “If you’re in farming and agriculture, it’s very easy to feel like you’re unsupported, even vilified, heartening to see how different people were making it work and how diverse modern farming is.”
The series will consist of six episodes, and will mark Amanda’s official departure from the family TV show.
Each week, Amanda will visit a different farm, immersing herself in both their lives and their businesses for the week.
Amanda added: “This series will show what life’s really like for farmers in 2022.
“To the outside world, it might seem like some farmers have it made, with large plots of land and expensive machinery but, as ever, the truth is much more complex.”
She went on to say that she is keen to shine a light of the high expectations of farmers and meeting some “extraordinary people” form across the UK.
