Antiques Roadshow expert Theo Burrell has revealed that she has been diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour.
The young mum, 36, was told the devastating news after suffering from agonising migraines and eyesight problems last year.
After struggling with the symptoms for six months, her family resorted to taking her to A&E.

Theo told STV: “[The doctor] said, ‘we’re so sorry – it’s not just a case of migraines, you have a five-centimetre cancerous brain tumour’
“It’s the sort of thing that you don’t think is going to happen to you, especially not when you’re in your 30s.”
The TV star admitted that the diagnosis knocked her for six as her son was just one when she was told the tragic news.
Theo has gone through radiotherapy, chemotherapy and surgery to try and reduce the tumour, and she has said that the treatments are helping.
She added: “My last two scans have shown improvement, my residual tumour has shrunk, so that’s been a relief, but as an incurable cancer, and as an aggressive cancer, it’s a grade 4 glioblastoma that I have.
“I need to be prepared that this is coming back… Ultimately, unless something even more tragic happens, I’m told that this will take my life.”
Theo has decided to host a charity auction to try and raise money for raising awareness and researching the condition, with all of the proceeds from the online event going to The Brain Tumour Charity.
She said: “It’s been incredibly important, it’s helped me refocus, it’s certainly been important in my recovery.”
Theo has been working as an auctioneer and specialist in fine antiques since 2011, and joined the BBC show in 2018.
Antiques Roadshow airs on Sundays at 8pm on BBC.
