BBC Breakfast was hit with a major shake-up on Sunday (August 20) as two rarely seen presenters stepped in and had fans swooning.
Ben Boulos and Luxmy Gopal teamed up to present the latest instalment of the BBC programme, sharing the top headlines with viewers across the country.
Sunday is normally the time when lesser known hosts take up a spot on the red sofa, with Monday to Wednesday typically presented by Jon Kay and Sally Nugent.

While Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty take the reins at the end of the week, usually presenting the show from Thursday through to Saturday.
Fans welcomed Ben and Luxmy’s appearance with open arms after the presenter shared a behind the scenes snap on her Twitter account.
Alongside a photo of the pair smiling in the studio, the news anchor wrote: “Good morning sunshine! Ben and I are in red, white & blue in support of the #Lionesses ahead of the #WorldCupFinal.
“Happy Sunday from all of us here on @BBCBreakfast”.
One fan responded: “A very good morning to you too….looking absolutely stunning in blue,” as a second penned: “Looking wonderful Luxmy!”
“What a way to wake up with @luxmy_g,” gushed a third viewer as another echoed: “Looked lovely as always”.
“Beautiful in blue,” agreed someone else as a fifth fan added: “Oh my what a bonus Ben Boulos on the red sofa”.
Last year, fans begged for Luxmy to be made permanent after she stole the show while presenting alongside Roger Johnson.
Flurrying to social media, one fan we: “What a breath of fresh air you are, it’s time you had a permanent slot me thinks.”
“The best Sunday team! Loving it this morning,” echoed a second viewer.
Another chipped in: “It’s a fantastic Sunday when Luxmy is on the breakfast sofa.”
