BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty posted a video of herself lying in a hospital bed as she went to a medical centre after appearing on the show.
Naga was seen presenting on the breakfast news show alongside Ben Thompson, as Charlie Stayt took a break from the red sofa during the summer holidays.
But as soon as she was finished, Naga went to the hospital so she could donate blood for a good cause.

Sharing her experience on social media, Naga said to the camera: “I’ve just done the Breakfast shift and just nipped in to give some blood, it will over in about 15 to 20 minutes.
“I’m feeling good but the thing that makes me feel most good is that hopefully it will save someone’s life.”
She captioned the video: “Good morning! @bbcbreakfast work done.
“Now giving a little bit of me to hopefully make someone’s day a bit better in the future.”
One fan posted: “Thank you, and thank you too everyone else who donates blood. I needed 5 units back in 2015, and I might not be here without the people who donated that blood. Forever grateful.”
Another added: “Good work Naga, and hopefully seeing this will convince others to do it!”
A third chipped in: “You even manage to look Beautiful Giving blood.”
A fourth agreed: “Fantastic, great person.”
BBC Breakfast has been affected by a number of shake-ups this week, as due to the ongoing coverage of the FIFA Women’s World Cup, the show was moved from BBC One to BBC Two during Friday’s episode.
Ben told viewers: “You’ve been watching Breakfast on BBC One. Now, we are going to leave you here on BBC One because coming up next is live coverage of the Women’s World Cup in New Zealand.
“If you want to stay with us, you can turn over to BBC Two. We’re going to be on there until 9 o’clock.”
BBC Breakfast airs weekdays at 6am on BBC One.
