BBC Strictly’s Zara McDermott supports co-star Graziano Di Prima in new movie role

Strictly Come Dancing star Zara McDermott wowed fans when she watched her professional dancer’s new movie role.

Loyal fans of the BBC One dance competition will remember the documentary maker was eliminated from the competition during Halloween week. The dynamic duo danced their socks off in the dreaded dance-off against Adam Thomas and Luba Mushtuk but failed to secure their place in the competition.

But that hasn’t stopped the TV star from supporting her co-star from behind the wings. On Wednesday (November 22), the blonde bombshell took to her Instagram Stories to share the ballroom dancer’s hidden role in a Christmas movie.

The 29-year-old shared the screen with Glee star Matthew Morrison Sugababes beauty Jade Ewen, and romantic comedy legend Jennifer Lilley. The film follows the lives of professional dancer paired up with a complete novice who battle it out to win a ballroom competition in the heart of Paris.

Graziano played the role of Italian hunk Paolo who frequently competed against the leading man Leo and his new dance partner Emma who is completely new to dancing. It’s fair to say the former Love Island star was more than impressed with her pal’s role on the big screen.

Sharing the nail-biting clip of the tense dance off, Zara couldn’t help but gush over her co-star to her 1.8million followers online. She explained: “I’m polishing off my evening with a little movie – I’m watching Graz’s movie! How exciting. Hello Paolo, this is so awesome.”
