Celebrity Big Brother star Lauren Harries has broken her silence after her mother begged fans for “help” online.
The 45-year-old TV personality was rushed to hospital last month after needing an emergency brain operation and has remained there ever since.
After Lauren’s mum Katy left fans worried with her update on her daughter’s health on Tuesday (May 16), Lauren has now provided fans with an update of her own.

Heading over to her Instagram story, Lauren wrote: “Hello my stars. Well, I’m still in hospital. Nearly dying changes you and makes you appreciate every moment.
“So enjoy the sunshine and know that I love you. Light, love and peace,” she added.
The star then went on to share a number of colourful drawings on her Instagram story as well as an adorable cat video.
She also shared a snap of the cards she received during her hospital stay.
Lauren’s mum Katy previously took to Twitter to share a heartwrenching plea with fans.
She wrote: “Please help: Lauren has had a number of blackouts after which the right side of her face droops. This is incredibly scary for Lauren and us. She also has a consistent headache.
“Drs haven’t been able to explain what is causing these. Have you or someone you know been through this? Any ideas or help you could give will be so helpful.”
She added: “The NHS saved Lauren but they can’t find any answers for this and it is so scary when it happens.
Flooding the reply section, fans tried to make sense of what was going on.
One social media user wrote: “I’m so sorry to hear that. I think Lauren needs input from a consultant Neurologist. Could the facial drooping be belspausy? Also, have they considered dural tap headache post-surgery. Worth discussing with the consultant. Perhaps a 2nd opinion x.”
While another penned: “Bells Palsy by the sounds of it, I’ve had it. I’m shocked a consultant can’t spot that?!”
It is still not clear what kind of condition or medical issue Lauren is currently suffering from however fans were first informed that something was wrong when her mum took to social media in April.
Lauren rose to fame as an antiques expert when she appeared on the Antiques Roadshow and Wogan at the age of 12.
In 2003 she underwent gender reassignment surgery and appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2013 where she came third place.
