Bruno Tonioli has reportedly tripled his Strictly Come Dancing salary after landing a judging role on Britain’s Got Talent.
The Italian dancer and choreographer, 67, is reportedly set to make £850,000 for his stint on the judging panel – three times more than his reported wage for a Strictly judge.
Judges on the BBC dancing competition, including Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel-Horwood are believed to earn around £250,000 per series.

However, after beating favourites including comedian Alan Carr for a place on the BGT judging panel, Bruno is now set to make an eye-watering sum from his new role, with an insider telling The Sun On Sunday: “Friends say Bruno is ecstatic to return to prime-time Saturday night TV in the UK.
“He’s managed to triple his UK Strictly salary and beat off strong competition from favourite-for-the-job Alan Carr, who is friends with a lot of the cast and crew.”
They added: “Simon [Cowell] has been Bruno’s biggest supporter and thinks he has a special on-screen quality that can’t be replicated.”
However, The Sun reported that a spokesperson for BGT declined to comment on the salary that Bruno will make from his role as a judge.
Bruno will make his BGT debut at The London Palladium on January 24, alongside judges including Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden – replacing David Walliams who left the programme last year.
Chatty Man host and comedian Alan Carr was initially tipped for the role, before the job was offered to Bruno.
The Mirror reported a source close to the show as saying: “It is one the most peculiar events in showbusiness in recent years. Alan was told that he had the job and then all of sudden Bruno’s name popped up. It is so bizarre.”
Another source also told The Daily Mail: “He [Alan] is trying to keep his head up, he thought that he had it. It is really disappointing for him.
“BGT have really missed a trick, especially with the on-screen chemistry between him and Amanda.”
