Charlotte Crosby reveals struggle with ‘awful’ Prenatal depression before giving birth

Charlotte Crosby has openly shared her struggle with “terrible” and “unexplainable” prenatal depression before the arrival of her daughter, Alba Jean, last year.

The Geordie Shore alumni, 33, who is in a relationship with Jake Ankers, confessed that this condition left her incapacitated, fearing that the emotional torment would “never end.” Speaking about her pregnancy journey on Giovanna Fletcher’s Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast, she revealed: “It was awful. I got a bit of prenatal depression, it was awful.

“It felt like it was it was only two weeks. But it was two weeks of feeling like I could not get out of bed. There was a dark cloud hanging over my head. It wasn’t that I didn’t want the baby. It was just I felt so low”.

She lamented: “I didn’t want to do anything. I just like was flat, I cant even describe it. It’s indescribable. When you go through something like that”. Charlotte revealed that she began to recover as time passed.
