Danny Dyer teases huge career move after EastEnders as he admits ‘big things coming’

After an epic run in Eastenders, Danny Dyer is done with Walford Square, but he still has big plans and is plotting something “powerful”.

Having blown us all away as Chelsea hooligan, Tommy Johnson, in Football Factory and international drug dealer, Franky, in The Business, fans can’t wait to see their hero back in action.

And after portraying Mick Carter for nine years, it seems Danny is ready to return to big films.

In a dramatic exit, Mick vanished at sea, after diving into the fearsome waves in a bid to save his ex-wife Linda.

Danny Dyer has an exciting project ahead

Since his near-decade-long stint on the show came to an end, he’s starred in Netflix’s quiz show Cheat and Channel 4’s Scared of the Dark.

But he recently teased fans by sharing on Instagram that he’d met up with Nick Love, who directed The Business.

He wrote: “Just had a strong meet with the beautiful Nick Love…gonna get back on the horse with him.

Over the weekend, the soap hard-man participated in Soccer Aid at a packed-out Old Trafford.

A source had told The Sun: “Danny is a huge football fan, and Soccer Aid is a dream gig for him.

“Previously, he’s refused to take part if Mark is on the team.

“Danny is buzzing he can now be a part of it, and he is looking forward to walking out at Old Trafford tonight.”

The actor took part in Soccer Aid

In addition, the actor recently became a grandad after his daughter Dani gave birth to twins, fathered by West Ham superstar, Jarrod Bowen, who’s managed to give the actor two things to be happy about.

Thanks to his last-minute winner against Fiorentina, Dyer’s beloved West Ham picked up a historic Europa Conference League trophy.

And while for the 45-year-old, the night may have been somewhat overshadowed by a rather inappropriate song about his daughter, in all likelihood, he’ll have still gone to bed with a smile on his face.
