The public ‘feud’ between This Morning’s Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield has reached the Houses of Parliament, with the fall out being mocked by MPs.
The presenters, who have worked together on the ITV daytime show since 2009, are reported to be “barely speaking” off camera with their long term friendship in difficulty.
The ‘feud’ has seen the pair take time away from This Morning, with the fall out now also being used as a joke between politicians in Parliament.

Tory MP Oliver Dowden teased the Labour party as he made a dig at MPs Sir Keri Starmer and Angela Rayner as he claimed they were “at each other’s throats”.
Hinting at the ongoing ITV drama, the Tory MP added: “They’re the Phil and Holly of British politics!”
The joke caused laughter across the House from MPs across the Conservative bench and beyond.
The fall out between the presenters, who also present Dancing On Ice together, has been heightened in recent days with huge attention on whether the pair will continue in their longstanding roles as presenters of ITV’s This Morning.
Viewers have also branded the pair’s presenting this week as “awkward” and “fake” as the TV stars returned to their positions alongside each other to continue to present the programme together.
Last week, Phillip addressed the feud and called Holly ‘his rock’ in a statement to The Sun: “As I have said before, Holly is my rock. We’re the best of friends — as always, she is an incredible support on screen, behind the scenes and on the phone.
“Holly has always been there for me, through thick and thin. And I’ve been there for her. The last few weeks haven’t been easy for either of us.
“And Holly’s support throughout meant the world to me, as did the support of my bosses at ITV, my editor Martin Frizell and the whole This Morning family, including our amazing viewers.”
