Horror fans are freaking out over the new Saw X poster, after believing they’ve worked out what new trap Jigsaw could have come up with.
The new film will take place chronologically between the events of Saw I and II, which has led some fans to think that Jigsaw could be going back to basics for the new flick.
Keen fans will remember that the first ever Saw film didn’t include as many gruesome games as the subsequent movies in the series, with two victims locked in a room together.

With both men chained up with hacksaws, they were expected to saw through their own legs to escape.

It’s a far cry from jumping into a pit of needles or having heads chopped off with bear traps, as happened later in the series.
The new Saw X poster shows a man with his mouth wide open in a scream, with two crossed tubes forming an X attached to his eyes with a chunky metal contraption.
And fans think they know exactly what that trap could mean for the victim.
Some fans have suggested that acid will be poured down the long tubes and straight into the eyes of the victim, writing on Twitter: “It’s what I’m assuming is gonna be a new trap in Saw X, if I know my Saw stuff, acid or some other kind of chemical is gonna get poured down those tubes.”
Someone else begged: “What is going down those tubes?”
A third social media user penned: “Just seen the new poster for Saw X… he’s deffo having acid leaked into his eyes or something equally horrid.”
But another fan wondered: “A Jigsaw trap that sucks your eyes out?!” – hinting the tubes could be used as vacuums instead.

According to Deadline, the new film tells the “untold chapter of Jigsaw’s final games”, as desperate John Kramer travels to Mexico for a risky medical procedure, hoping to cure his cancer.
He soon realises that his hopes of a miracle cure is actually a scam to defraud vulnerable people – and has to return to his work to turn the tables on the con artists through “devious, deranged and ingenious traps”.
Saw X is directed by Kevin Greutert, who was also in charge of Saw VI and Saw: The Final Chapter.
